"Making home ownership better, easier, and more affordable since 1999"

 Meet Paul Hirschfeld

NMLS #85297

I grew up in Melrose MA in the 1960’s as the youngest of 10 children and understood the term “double-buckle” (two kids, one seatbelt) as a way to be semi safe, but only some of the time.

At Plymouth State I developed some lifelong friendships while earning my Business Degree. My teammates and I contributed to thirty-seven victories out of forty-two games and I’m not sure things could have gotten any better, except for ….

… this current journey that includes my wife Shari and our four children: Justin, Josh, Jaimee and Jared.

- The oldest two, Justin and Josh are college grads embarking on their own journey into the real world.

- My daughter Jaimee is off to Assumption College and running track.

- Jared, my youngest, is a Freshman at Medfield High participating in football, hockey and lacrosse.

I’ve been involved in several aspects of mortgage banking for the past quarter-century. I enjoy seeing the evolution of a service industry that brings true quality-of-life enhancements to the people I am fortunate enough to engage with.

My wife has a fulfilling career in the medical field and her current chapter is selling medical equipment for GE Capital.

More important than my professional career is the time I spend coaching children; 17 years coaching football, baseball and (mostly) travel hockey. With sports, life lessons and friendships are formed. Sports also teaches children how to cope when things don’t go according to plan. Enter: defeat, success, rejection, acceptance, utopia, crater, heartache and indifference.

With all my kids we have experienced many memorable moments of winning league championships, tournaments and we have also experienced the losses of State Championships, Overtime losses and days of just not playing well. I would not want it any other way for their development.

The definition of family has changed over the years. It seems windshield time has taken the place of family dinners as we drive from event to event. When we do assemble around a full family dinner that captures my definition of perfection.

I’m a Patriots season ticket holder for the past 25 years; tailgating has developed into a passion for how to add flavors and cook various items on the grill or smoker. Seldom not a smile for me when in Foxboro.

My mornings start either at the gym, or walking our 5th child, Tucker, a Chocolate Labrador who thrives in our household craziness and the “wilds” of the Medfield trails.
